Palazzo Belmonte is delightfully isolated, at the same time being a short walk from the Southern Italian fishing village of Santa Maria di Castellabate, where the quayside and heart of Santa Maria offer local shopping or the chance to visit the weekly colourful open-air market.

Private boat trips and picnic lunches can be arranged to Licosa, an extraordinary 6 km stretch of private coastline. Licosa forms part of the Belmonte estate, with crystal clear water ideal for snorkelling, pine woodland bordering the sea delightful for a pleasant stroll, and a superb stretch for cycling or for the enthusiastic jogger.
